It didn’t take the Philadelphia Eagles long to answer the Washington Commanders’ extended first drive in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. It only took 18 seconds.
Starting from their 40-yard line after Washington utilized an 18-play game-opening drive to go up 3-0, the Eagles needed just a single play to claim the lead.
Running back Saquon Barkley took the ball around the left side and broke several tackles on his way for a 60-yard touchdown on his team’s first play from scrimmage.
