Wide receiver Darius Slayton is going to be with the New York Giants for the foreseeable future.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Slayton is re-signing with the Giants on a three-year, $36M deal.

Slayton is coming off a tough season that saw him catch just 39 passes for 573 yards and two touchdowns, but he’s been a consistent presence for the Giants ever since they selected him in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Auburn.

He’s led the team in receiving in four out of the last five seasons, and while Slayton has never been a 1,000-plus-yard receiver, he is absolutely a solid wideout who could be a sneaky No. 2 next to Malik Nabers.

Slayton’s best season was his rookie season in which he caught 48 passes for 740 yards and eight touchdowns.
