The New England Patriots are hoping Mike Vrabel can help reverse the franchise’s recent misfortunate, and it looks like one of the team’s marquee free-agent signings is happy to be working with the head coach.
Stefon Diggs agreed to a three-year, $69M contract with the Patriots on Tuesday night. Money was likely the primary motivation behind the decision, but Diggs will also have an opportunity to play with an exciting young quarterback in Drake Maye.
If social media is any indicator, the coach has Diggs’ stamp of approval, too. On Thursday, Diggs shared a photo on his Instagram story that showed Vrabel during the former linebacker’s playing days in New England.
