The Pittsburgh Steelers may reportedly replace George Pickens with one of Aaron Rodgers’ most trusted former teammates.

The Steelers have an interest in trading for New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Lazard is one of Rodgers’ favored teammates, having played together in both Green Bay and New York.

Lazard is seen as expendable by the Jets, who recently renegotiated his salary from $11 million down to $2.5 million. The Steelers need a second wide receiver on the depth chart after trading Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday.

For his part, Lazard certainly seemed to take note of the Steelers’ sudden need at wide receiver, based on some posts he sent on X Wednesday.
