It’s tough to win a Super Bowl. It’s even tougher to win two in a row. That’s what made what the Kansas City Chiefs did in Super Bowls LVII and LVIII so impressive over the past few seasons.

The Chiefs were looking to be the first ever team to three-peat a Super Bowl, but Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles got in the way of that goal.

The Eagles won Super Bowl LIX and they’ll be the defending champions until February, but there’s no resting on your laurels in the NFL.

As such, the Eagles need to get getting after it in 2025-26, and they took a big step in the right direction by re-signing an important piece of their offense.

Veteran tight end Dallas Goedert has been re-signed on a team friendly deal. The Eagles did have options to trade the former South Dakota State tight end, but they ultimately decided to bring him back.

And that’s a big deal for Philly.
