The Jets, coming off their ninth straight losing season, are about to play the NFL’s seventh-easiest schedule, facing opponents with a combined .460 win percentage from 2024. That won’t hurt, but it won’t be enough.
Regular-season win total: 5.5 (BetMGM)
Outlook: The Jets may have hired former Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to be their new head coach, but offense should be the team’s No. 1 concern in 2025. New York gained the ninth-fewest yards (310.3) and points (19.9) per game with four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers at quarterback last season.
This year, New York will start 26-year-old quarterback Justin Fields, a first-round pick of the Bears in 2021, but someone who’s already playing for his third team. Fields went 4-2 in six starts with the Steelers last season before being benched for Russell Wilson, who’s now with the Giants.
