The Green Bay Packers came into training camp with a ton to prove.

They haven’t won the NFC North since 2021 and they’re still one of the youngest teams in the league. They, hypothetically, have the talent to be a Super Bowl contender, but there are also several key players on the team under immense pressure to step up in 2025 in order for the high expectations in Green Bay to be realized.

That makes this training camp extremely important for head coach Matt LaFleur and his team, and he wants his squad to be focused.

As such, the Pack recently revealed renovations to the locker room and that’s a potential distraction that LaFleur wants his guys to avoid. Yes, they’re living in luxury and undoubtedly enjoying the extra space and new amenities, but LaFleur was clear on the first day of training camp that while the new facilities are a bonus, they ultimately have nothing to do with winning and losing in 2025.
