The Seattle Seahawks believe they are one year ahead of schedule, competing not only for a playoff spot but also for the NFC West title.
Even the young players in the locker room feel they can be one of the top teams in the division. Some of these rookies have a chance to showcase their potential on Sunday when the Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
Left guard Grey Zabel
It shouldn’t be a surprise to see the first-round selection seen as one of the top offensive linemen this season. There was, however, much doubt about Zabel’s impact during the offseason. For those who haven’t seen his performance in the 2025 Senior Bowl or throughout the preseason, Zabel was one of the efficient and toughest young linemen for the Seahawks.
