The Philadelphia Eagles lost one notable defensive player when Za’Darius Smith stunned the NFL world with his in-season retirement, but they reportedly could be gaining a franchise legend to help out on that side of the ball.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday that defensive end Brandon Graham is “strongly considering coming out of retirement to sign with Philadelphia” following Smith’s retirement.
Graham, who is a two-time Super Bowl champion and the longest-tenured Eagle in franchise history, may look to “finalize a contract this week.”
