Texas Tech eliminated UCLA from the Women’s College World Series on Sunday, winning 8-7, with the Red Raiders advancing to the semifinals.
And one of the school’s most famous alumni, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was hype:
Texas Tech will next face Alabama on June 1. Because the Red Raiders advanced through the elimination bracket in Bracket 2, they will need to beat the Crimson Tide twice to reach the WCWS Finals.
