Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams sent Pope Leo XIV an autographed jersey for the Fourth of July.
Williams’ foundation posted a photo of Pope Leo XIV holding the jersey on X.
Pope Leo XIV, born Robert Prevost, is a Chicago native. He’s a noted sports fan with an affinity for the Chicago White Sox.
As for Williams, he helped lead the Bears to an 11-6 record as well as an appearance in the divisional round of the playoffs last season.
