Today’s minor moves:
New York Giants
Rico Payton was waived by the Giants yesterday but apparently passed through and has now landed on injured reserve, meaning he won’t be able to suit up for New York during the 2026 campaign. The former UDFA got into 16 games for the Saints in 2024 before joining the Giants last August. He ended up making nine appearances for his new squad in 2025, finishing with 12 tackles while spending the majority of his playing time on special teams.
