In Sunday’s home game against the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor made amends for his Week 15 gaffe.
Early in the third quarter of a 31-13 loss to the Denver Broncos, Taylor dropped the ball before he crossed the goal line on a would-be touchdown, resulting in a touchback. Denver then scored 24 unanswered points.
Perhaps the embarrassing play motivated Taylor. In a 38-30 win over Tennessee, he rushed for a season-high 218 yards on 29 carries. He also scored three rushing touchdowns, including a 65-yarder and 70-yarder.
