The 49ers’ makeshift offensive line hasn’t had any problem against the Lions’ makeshift defense. Brock Purdy is 7-for-7, and San Francisco is 2-for-2.

The 49ers have scored touchdowns on their first two drives, with Brock Purdy throwing a 3-yarder to Ricky Pearsall and a 9-yarder to Kyle Juszczyk.

San Francisco leads 14-6.

Purdy has thrown for 82 yards, with George Kittle catching two for 38.

The Lions got a sack of Purdy on the first play of what became a six-play, 70-yard drive, but defensive lineman Al-Quadin Muhammad held tight end George Kittle. The 5-yard penalty reset the downs, and the 49ers marched right down the field.
