Philadelphia Eagles defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson was reportedly fined for the second straight game.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported Thursday that the NFL fined Gardner-Johnson for throwing New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara down after he was out of bounds on the third play of Sunday’s game. While he was fined, the defensive back was not penalized for the play during the game.
He was also fined for a taunting violation after Philadelphia’s Week 2 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
