There’s been a lot of talk about the Eagles passing game lately, and for good reason. Running back Saquon Barkley has carried the team so far, but Philadelphia won’t beat Pittsburgh without a big day from quarterback Jalen Hurts.
The Eagles are 11-2 and have won a franchise-record nine straight games, but aside from Barkley, who set Philadelphia’s single-season rushing record (1,623 yards) in a 22-16 win over the Panthers on Sunday, the team’s offense has been bad.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown took heat for calling out the team’s aerial attack after the win but didn’t say anything that wasn’t true. When asked to describe what the Eagles need to work on, Brown said, “Passing.”
