When Tom Brady took on his role as minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, there was a lot of concern as to how he could objectively do his job as an analyst on Fox, specifically when it came to his willingness to criticize the league’s referees.
While Brady’s first year in the broadcast booth has been a little rocky at times, he has started to find his voice as the season has progressed. He also showed on Sunday night he is not afraid to be critical of the officials with their calls on the field.
There were two very questionable penalty calls in the first quarter of Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, benefitting both teams.
Brady was not a fan of either call and made that point very clear. In doing so, he also referenced the “Tuck Rule Game.”
