The Dallas Cowboys suffered their worst home loss since 1988 in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions, dropping a 47-9 decision.
It was also the most lopsided home defeat of the Jerry Jones era, as the 82-year-old owner took over the franchise in 1989.
Since winning three Super Bowls in Jones’ first seven seasons with the organization, Dallas hasn’t returned to the Big Game (or even a conference championship contest) despite 13 playoff berths during the stretch.
As the Cowboys head into their Week 7 bye at 3-3, Jones is showing every sign of turning into a curmudgeon.
He made his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan’s “Shan & RJ” show and blasted the radio hosts for their questioning style.
