Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suggested they could be the Philadelphia Eagles’ biggest competition next season. Is he joking?
The Eagles just won Super Bowl LIX, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. The Cowboys, meanwhile, went 7-10 and missed the playoffs in 2024.
However, Prescott said the Eagles aren’t a far better team than the Cowboys.
“I feel like we’ve competed with the Eagles and beat them for the most part,” Prescott said Tuesday, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “I don’t want to say, ‘Check our record’ when the other guy is holding the trophy, right? So, credit to them. They’ve earned it, and they deserve it by all means, but yeah, very close.”
