Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta seemed noncommittal when asked about tight end Mark Andrews’ future with the team on Tuesday.
“I never know what’s going to happen,” DeCosta said when asked if they would trade Andrews during the 2025 NFL Draft. “And I would never want to say this or that. But I can tell you this: Mark Andrews is a warrior. He’s played his butt off for us.”
Andrews has become an impact player for Baltimore since it took him with pick No. 86 in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, making three Pro Bowls and earning one first-team All-Pro nod.
However, he’s entering the final year of a four-year, $56M contract in 2025 and coming off a turbulent season. In 17 regular-season games, he tallied 11 touchdown catches but averaged 39.6 receiving yards per game, his lowest figure since his rookie season.
In Baltimore’s 27-25 AFC divisional round loss to the Buffalo Bills, he had a costly gaffe. With 1:33 left in the fourth quarter, he dropped a wide-open two-point conversion that would’ve tied the game.
