The Detroit Lions must have made a huge impact on the life and career of Graham Glasgow.
They cut him on Monday in an effort to save about $5.5 million on the 2026 salary cap.
Being fired as a cost-saving measure is always tough, but Glasgow played college ball with the Michigan Wolverines, and he was drafted by the Lions as a third-rounder back in 2016.
Heck, Glasgow left Detroit as a free agent in 2020, and he spent three seasons with the Denver Broncos, but he signed back with the Lions as soon as he could after being released by Denver in 2023.
Glasgow probably bleeds Honolulu blue, so it had to have stung a bit when the Lions cut him on Monday.
Even so, he took to social media after the news and spoke nothing but great things about the franchise.
“Whether the times were good or bad, I’m proud of the time that I was able to spend here. Detroit and being a Lion have had a huge impact on making me into the man that I am today, and because of that, it will always hold a special place in my heart,” Glasgow wrote on social media.
