Hall of Famer Jerry Rice is sick of 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel whining about his role in San Francisco’s offense.
Per Pro Football Talk’s Michael David Smith, Samuel wrote in a since-deleted social media post, “Not struggling at all, just not getting the ball” before their Week 15 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.
Against L.A., the 49ers targeted him more, but he didn’t deliver. In the 12-6 loss on “Thursday Night Football,” Samuel had three receptions for 16 yards on seven targets and a crucial drop in the third quarter.
