Pass-rusher Micah Parsons is expected to participate in the Dallas Cowboys’ mandatory minicamp from June 10-12 after skipping some voluntary workouts this spring amid his desire for a contract extension. 

According to Cowboys insider Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News, there’s no indication Parsons will put pen to paper on a deal before Dallas players officially begin their summer breaks. 

“Parsons enters the final year of his contract seeking one of the largest deals in NFL history for a non-quarterback,” Watkins wrote for a piece published Tuesday. “His agent, David Mulugheta, is seeking a deal that could reach $200M in total compensation. This offseason, Parsons talked to team owner and general manager Jerry Jones about his contract, but nothing of substance has occurred with Mulugheta, who is authorized to secure a contract based on the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement.”

First-year Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters on Tuesday that he believed Parsons would report for mandatory minicamp. Later in the evening, Parsons addressed the topic via social media:
