That Milroe even received an invitation is interesting, as those are typically reserved for likely first-round picks. Milroe is not necessarily seen as that. There is certainly a risk that he ends up in the unenviable position of being left in the green room after the first round.
On the other hand, Milroe has drawn some interest from teams slated to pick late in the first round. It is certainly possible he could be off the board on Day 1, especially with how aggressive some teams are when it comes to pursuing young quarterbacks in the draft. Plus, Milroe is still a prominent name, thanks to his college career at Alabama.
Milroe did not necessarily have the best predraft process. However, he has impressive physical tools and found success with the Crimson Tide. It is entirely plausible that some team might take a chance on him late in the first round.
