It has been a brutal season for quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. Things reached a new low point in Week 17 when Rodgers had one of the worst performances in the NFL over the past five years, got benched and watched as his team was blown out by the Buffalo Bills, 40-14.
It was also a performance that cost Rodgers more than $11K in salary.
The NFL fined Rodgers $11,255 this week for a late hit and unnecessary roughness following one of his two interceptions in Sunday’s game.
