It appears Antonio Pierce’s time as the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders could be coming to an end.
It doesn’t help when star edge-rusher Maxx Crosby is already out for the season because of an ankle injury. Then there is uncertainty if Aidan O’Connell can go Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons.
Despite the injuries, it’s a lost season for the 2-11 Raiders, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter suggested Monday morning that when owner Mark Davis didn’t vouch for Pierce at the owner’s meetings, that was a telling sign.
