While much of the NFL’s attention is on the Scouting Combine, there is no shortage of trade discussion as the offseason gets underway.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported on a number of trade candidates Sunday, including Las Vegas Raiders star pass-rusher Maxx Crobsy. While Fowler noted a team source previously said his chances of returning to the team “were relatively small,” he also pointed out the veteran does not plan on requesting a trade.

He also likely won’t land a return package equivalent to that the Green Bay Packers sent the Dallas Cowboys for Micah Parsons (two first-round picks and a starting-caliber player) last offseason, which could decrease the likelihood he is dealt.

“I think the price is too high,” an NFC executive said. “I’m not sure they really want to move him at this point. But that could change.”

Elsewhere, Fowler reported Chicago Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds has generated plenty of interest since the team granted him permission to seek a trade with the Tennessee Titans, Raiders and New York Giants as potential landing spots.

The two-time Pro Bowler has surpassed 100 tackles in each of his eight years in the league and could stabilize the middle of the defense for any of those teams.

He may not be the only NFC North player moved, as Fowler listed Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins (along with Denver Broncos offensive lineman Ben Powers) and Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery as possible trade pieces.

Yet Montgomery pushed back at the idea he “wants out” with the Lions looking for “a decent Day 3 pick” in return:

Jahmyr Gibbs is the go-to running back in the Detroit offense, and Montgomery finished the 2025 season with career-low marks in carries (158) and rushing yards (716). He became an afterthought as the campaign continued with fewer than 10 carries in seven of the Lions’ final eight games.

Trading him could be a win-win with the player getting more opportunity elsewhere and the team getting a valuable draft pick in return, but he didn’t seem too eager to ask out Sunday given his post on social media.
