Aaron Rodgers has yet to say a thing about his future nearly a month after the New York Jets released him, but there has been a lot of speculation that a decision from the star quarterback could be coming this week. If so, it does not sound like the news will be delivered on Pat McAfee’s show.
McAfee and his crew from “The Pat McAfee Show” are hosting a live event called “Big Night AHT” on Wednesday night at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pa. The former NFL punter is close with Rodgers, who is favored to sign with the Steelers. That is why many have said that Wednesday’s event would be the perfect time for Rodgers to make his big announcement.
It does not sound like that is going to happen. During a Wednesday appearance on Ben Roethlisberger’s “Footbahlin” podcast, McAfee said “Aaron Rodgers is not on the docket” for Wednesday night’s live event.
