DK Metcalf has requested a trade from the Seattle Seahawks, and we are starting to get a better sense of how much teams would be willing to give up to acquire the star wide receiver.
Metcalf reportedly informed the Seahawks on Wednesday that he would like to be traded. While the former Ole Miss star has been one of the top wideouts in the NFL in recent years, he is entering the final season of a three-year, $72 million extension he signed before the 2022 season. Metcalf is undoubtedly seeking a new contract, which could limit his market.
It sounds like the Seahawks would be able to get a fairly high draft pick for Metcalf, however. NFL reporter Josina Anderson says there is one team willing to trade at least a third-round pick for Metcalf.
