The Masters Champions dinner will be held on Tuesday evening, and it will be served in honor of defending champion Rory McIlroy.
On Tuesday, McIlroy spoke with reporters and discussed the process that led to the creation of the menu, and he offered a sly dig at his homeland’s cuisine in the process:
McIlroy finished his career Grand Slam last year by winning the Masters for the first time, defeating Justin Rose in a playoff after going 11 under through 72 holes.
McIlroy’s Masters title defense will begin on Thursday at 10:31 a.m. ET when he tees off with reigning Players Championship champion Cameron Young and reigning U.S. Amateur champion Mason Howell.
