The Pittsburgh Steelers are still waiting to hear if Aaron Rodgers wants to become their next starting quarterback, which has left many wondering if they will use a pick on the position in the upcoming NFL Draft. It sounds like that is a strong possibility.
Steelers general manager Omar Khan addressed the team’s quarterback situation during his media availability on Tuesday. He said that Pittsburgh needs to have four quarterbacks on the roster when training camp begins during the summer, but it currently only has two in Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson.
“We discussed in Palm Beach a couple weeks ago, we go to camp with four quarterbacks. Right now, we have two on the roster and all options are on the table in how we acquire those last two,” Khan said. “I assure you we’ll have four when we get to (training camp).”
