Steelers To Acquire Jonnu Smith From Dolphins

In addition the Jalen Ramsey–Minkah Fitzpatrick blockbuster, the Dolphins and Steelers have agreed on another swap. Tight end Jonnu Smith is headed to Pittsburgh.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Smith has been traded to the Steelers in a deal involving a late-round pick swap. Smith will receive a one-year, $12MM extension upon arrival in Pittsburgh, allowing him to earn a raise as hoped. This deal is the latest aggressive move in an offseason full of them for the Steelers.
