When a team adds a running back that rushes for over 2,000 yards in a season, a likely consequence is that even a talented wide receiver would see his numbers dip. Just ask Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith. In addition to Saquon Barkley joining Philadelphia, Smith also missed four games over the 2024-25 campaign — resulting in a career low in yards and the fewest receptions for Smith since his rookie season. And yet — he managed to catch a career-high eight touchdowns over his 13 games as well as catching a career-best 76.4 percent of his targets. With the amount of attention Barkley and fellow wide out A.J. Brown will get, Smith could be the key to an Eagles victory in Super Bowl LIX.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The first time Philly met K.C. in the Super Bowl, Smith caught seven passes for 100 yards. How many of the NFL players to rack up at least 100 receiving yards in one Super Bowl can you name in five six minutes?
Good luck!
