When Austin Ekeler joined the Washington Commanders ahead of the 2024-25 NFL season, it wasn’t a move that made major waves throughout the league. After combining for 3,195 scrimmage yards and 38 total touchdowns in 2022 and 2023, Ekeler’s production dipped some in his seventh and final year with the Los Angeles Chargers. And while he doesn’t have the eye-popping statistics he routinely posted for a while with the Chargers, he’s been a solid option for rookie phenom quarterback Jayden Daniels behind lead back Brian Robinson.
