It’s been a few years since Tom Brady has taken a snap in the NFL, but the legend will have the chance to compete on the gridiron again soon.
Brady is set to compete in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March, and he’s making sure he’s in shape for the game.
“The problem is I’ve probably been in the gym too much, but I’ve had less time on the field and I need to spend more time on the field getting ready,” Brady told People’s Natasha Dye.
Brady also said now that the NFL regular season is over and more players have some free time, he’s going to “get some receivers out there to run a few routes for me.”
According to Dye, Brady teased the possibility of him playing flag football at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, but that may be a bit of a stretch.
Along with Brady, current and former NFL stars such as Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, CeeDee Lamb, Maxx Crosby, Rob Gronkowski, Sauce Gardner, Myles Garrett and more will compete in the event.
Washington Commanders star Jayden Daniels will captain one of the flag football teams, while Brady will captain the other.
