The sports world may not have seen Derek Carr’s abrupt retirement coming, but it looks like the former New Orleans Saints quarterback is already settling into a new routine.
Carr announced on Saturday that he has decided to retire after doctors advised him to undergo surgery on his throwing shoulder. There is no guarantee that Carr would return to full strength even after the procedure, so he is calling it a career instead.
Carr’s wife, Heather, wasted no time documenting her husband’s new routine. Mrs. Carr put together a video that shows some of the activities Derek Carr has been able to enjoy now that he is not preparing for a 12th NFL season.
