With most of the NFL’s Week 13 slate wrapped up, some winners and losers have emerged. Bryce Young led the Carolina Panthers to a stunning upset of the Los Angeles Rams, while the downward spiral for the Indianapolis Colts continued.
NFL Week 13 winners
Bryce Young, quarterback, Carolina Panthers:
After missing a huge opportunity in the Monday night loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Young responded by going 15-of-20 for 206 yards and three TDs in a stunning upset over the Rams. With two of Carolina’s final four games coming against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NFC South could be theirs for the taking as perhaps the league’s biggest sleeper.
Derek Stingley Jr., cornerback, Houston Texans: Houston has now won its last four games, and Stingley was a huge part of its success in Sunday’s win over the Colts. He did not allow a reception on his only target across 28 coverage snaps, marking his fourth game of the season allowing fewer than 10 yards in coverage and his second straight shutout in coverage, per Next Gen Stats.
