The Los Angeles Sparks knocked off the Indiana Fever 106-92 on Wednesday night in Caitlin Clark’s return to the court after a two-game absence due to a back injury.
Here’s a look at the game’s notable performers.
Clark struggled in her return to the court, shooting 4-of-12 from the field and 1-of-6 from three with four turnovers. A bit of rust was to be expected, and she’ll sit out Thursday’s second leg of a back-to-back. Aliyah Boston will return for the Fever, however.
Mitchell was superb for the Fever, though her efforts weren’t enough to slow down the balanced attack from the Sparks, as Ogwumike, Hamby and Burrell each topped 20 points.
The Sparks moved to to 9-11 on the season while the Fever fell to 12-9.
