The Los Angeles Rams can rest easy after learning star wide receiver Puka Nacua only suffered a minor injury in Tuesday’s joint practice against the Dallas Cowboys

After practice, Rams head coach Sean McVay offered no update on Nacua’s status, sparking concern. Later, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that the 2025 first-team All-Pro experienced minor groin soreness during the session and was removed as a precaution.

Groin soreness is certainly irritating for Nacua. That said, it’s much better than a torn one, which can be a season-ending injury.

The Rams could manage without Nacua. L.A. boasts a deep receiving corps that includes three-time first-team All-Pro Davante Adams as its No. 2 WR. Last season, he had 60 receptions for 789 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdown catches in 14 regular-season games.
