Jacksonville Jaguars third-round pick Albert Regis shared a memorable moment with his daughter before being selected in the 2026 NFL draft on Friday.

Earlier on Friday morning, Regis’ daughter correctly picked the Jaguars as his landing spot out of four choices, and Jacksonville later made her premonition come true:

A two-year starter at Texas A&M, Regis produced 116 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 10 passes defended and a forced fumble in 51 career games. B/R’s NFL Scouting Department ranked him as the No. 18 defensive lineman in this year’s draft class.

“Albert Regis is a strong run defender who can be trusted to hold his gap and beat one-on-one blocks to make tackles near the line of scrimmage,” B/R’s Matt Holder wrote in his scouting report. “However, teams might have a difficult time finding his best position because the 6’1″, 295-pound defensive lineman has nose tackle length with 3-technique mass.”

Regis will look to make his daughter proud when he takes the field for Jacksonville during his rookie year in 2026.
