No wonder the Jacksonville Jaguars traded all those picks to take cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter with pick No. 2 in the 2025 NFL Draft.
After selecting him, the Jaguars said Hunter could change the NFL’s trajectory. We wouldn’t go that far, but it’s safe to say he’s becoming a franchise-altering talent for Jacksonville.
Travis Hunter joined rare company in loss to Houston Texans
On Sunday against the Texans in London, Hunter caught four passes for a season-high 59 yards and one touchdown. The score helped the Jaguars close the gap, cutting the deficit to 31-28 with 11:26 in the fourth quarter. He made another big play on the ensuing drive.
Hunter intercepted Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud in the end zone, snatching a potential touchdown away from wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson. The sequence helped Hunter join an exclusive club.
