Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love was among several players in attendance for the Washington Commanders’ pre-draft group visit at TopGolf on Tuesday night, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Other prospects at the visit included Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese, Buckeyes wide receiver Carnell Tate, Texas Tech edge-rusher David Bailey, LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane and Ohio State safety Caleb Downs.
The Commanders own the No. 7 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
Washington has held large pre-draft visits at TopGolf in recent years, including a group of over 20 prospects ahead of the 2024 draft that contained future Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Love would form an intriguing potential pairing with Daniels, as he’s coming off a 2025 campaign with the Fighting Irish in which he finished No. 3 in Heisman Trophy voting.
He rushed for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns in 12 games, averaging 6.9 yards per carry. Love also hauled in 27 receptions for 280 yards and three scores.
As for Reese, he racked up 69 tackles and 10 tackles for loss to go along with 6.5 sacks during his junior season with the Buckeyes. He was a consensus All-American.
Meanwhile, Tate served as a key piece of Ohio State’s offense by reeling in 51 catches for 875 yards. He scored nine total touchdowns while averaging 17.2 yards per reception.
The 2026 NFL draft will begin on April 23.
