Every coach backs his team to win, but Florida’s Jon Sumrall didn’t expect the Gators to be favored in their upcoming game against No. 4 Ole Miss.
“There’s a lot of good drugs out there,” he told reporters Monday when alerted to the oddsmakers’ opinions.
Florida is a 2.5-point favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of writing.
“I didn’t even know the favored deal, but whoever is doing that, I don’t know, they haven’t watched the tape,” Sumrall said. “They’ve got the best quarterback in college football, I think. He’s a dude. They’ve got a lot of great weapons and so we’ve got a lot to work on.”
