Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has received a significant update regarding his status with the NFL.
Jacobs has been on the NFL’s Commissioner Exempt list since Aug. 30, while the league initiated an investigation under the Personal Conduct Policy following Jacobs ‘ arrest in May.
Josh Jacobs is being removed from the Commissioner’s Exempt list
According to ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter, Jacobs is being removed from the NFL’s Commissioner Exempt list on Monday. The league will continue to investigate Jacobs’ arrest, but his removal on Monday will make him eligible to play in Week 7.
While the investigation continues, the NFL still reserves the right to add further discipline if and when warranted. That will certainly be something to monitor throughout the remainder of the investigation.
