The Cardinals’ running back surplus already saw Trey Benson waived with an injury designation. It will now produce a trade. Arizona is trading running back Corey Kiner to New England, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets.
A 2025 UDFA, Kiner played in four games for the Cardinals last season. The Patriots are sending a 2028 seventh-round pick to the Cards in this deal. As PFR’s 2026 trade tracker shows, this is Arizona’s first deal involving a veteran player this year.
