The Baltimore Ravens are dealing with a nightmare scenario, even with a 4-4 record.
Lamar Jackson returned to the field Sunday, only to suffer a likely season-ending thumb injury on his first throw. His entire tenure in Baltimore may be over as well.
For now, the team needs to focus on replacing Jackson and staying competitive to avoid a lost season. That task is already being made much harder following backup QB Tyler Huntley’s toe injury he suffered Sunday.
That leaves undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano out of UConn as the next man up. That is, if he is healthy enough to play.
Ravens HC reveals yet another concerning QB update
Ravens HC Jesse Minter spoke to the media Monday and, per insider Ian Rapoport, said Fagnano “has a chance” to play Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is reportedly dealing with an ankle injury.
