Across four NFL seasons, Jalen Hurts connected with A.J. Brown 326 times for 4,789 yards and 30 touchdowns. They won three NFC East championships, appeared in two Super Bowls and lifted the Lombardi Trophy together after Super Bowl LIX just two seasons ago.
But despite the success, there was constant noise about Brown and his happiness (or lack thereof) in Philadelphia and this offseason he was reunited with his former head coach Mike Vrabel via a trade to New England.
Heading into the 2026 season Hurts addressed the rift that developed between him and his top receiver.
“Not as close as we once were,” Hurts said.
“I believe that’s fine. There’s no bad blood. There’s actually still a lot of love. I love him to death. Nothing happened, people just grow apart.
The Eagles offense is expected to look a bit different this offseason with the departure of Brown and the arrival of first-year offensive coordinator Sean Mannion as Philadelphia goes for their third-straight division title.
