Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Travis Hunter’s first career interception has been returned to its rightful owner.
After a viral video in which a New England Patriots employee refused to give the ball to Jaguars defensive end Joshua Hines-Allen, the Patriots reportedly worked with the Jags to rectify the situation.
Hunter’s interception was one of three turnovers by Patriots quarterback Drake Maye in Jacksonville’s 35-6 victory.
After spending his rookie season playing both offense and defense, Hunter appears to be settling into his role as a full-time cornerback.
The Jags (2-1) will try to build off the momentum of their dominant win over the Patriots when they face the Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) in Week 4.
