If the Philadelphia Eagles end up trading A.J. Brown, most are expecting he will be sent to the New England Patriots. It’s New England who has been rumored to be the front-runner in the Brown sweepstakes for months.

However, until a deal has actually been consummated, anything can happen. So no matter how much it may seem like Brown to the Patriots is a lock and simply inevitable, here are some other teams to watch who could also be interested in making a trade happen.

After back-to-back runner-up finishes in the AFC West and early playoff exits, Jim Harbaugh and company could be itching to take a big swing to get over the hump. Despite employing an offense more predicated on a ground attack, Harbaugh, a former quarterback, knows how important having a true No. 1 wide receiver can be.

Brown would instantly boost the Chargers’ offense, providing Justin Herbert with a playmaker like he’s never had before.

Most importantly, the Chargers have tons of salary cap space and are planning to open up the passing game with Mike McDaniel now part of the fold as offensive coordinator.

There’s no team facing more pressure to reach a Super Bowl than the Bills, especially after firing Sean McDermott made it clear that anything shy of a deep run is unacceptable.

While the Bills have already addressed their weakness at the wide receiver position by trading for DJ Moore, Brown would still take the offense another level.

Acquiring Brown would be the best way to maximize Josh Allen’s prime. The time is now for Buffalo, which means there’s nothing not worth giving up for a true shot at a championship.

Even though a return to the franchise that drafted him seems unlikely, the Titans fit the criteria as a team with cap space with a desire to place talent around their young quarterback, 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward.

Coming off a season in which tight end Chig Okonkwo was their leading receiver with only 560 yards, the Titans could be desperate enough to turn back to Brown, who exceeded 1,000 yards in his three season in Tennessee at the start of his career.

Tennessee hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2021, but playing in the often wide-open AFC South allows one new player to be a difference maker.

Honorable mention teams: Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders, Baltimore Ravens

Whatever team lands Brown is getting one of the most productive receivers in football. In seven NFL seasons, Brown, 28, has already accumulated 8,029 yards on 524 receptions with 56 touchdowns. A three-time Pro Bowler, he’s also already experienced winning at the highest level, being part of the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX championship team.
